How to prepare a good maté?

Fill the mate (container) 2/3 full with yerba.

Tilt it to one side.

Add a little warm water (40°C).

Place the bombilla (filter straw).

Top up with hot water (75°C maximum), without drowning the yerba.

Enjoy slowly , drinking in small sips, and refill with water as soon as the level drops.
